Life.Paper.Scrapbook. - MoodBoard Challenge!

There is a brand new challenge over at the LPS blog today! There are many patterns and beautiful colors to be inspired!

I was inspired by the bright colors, triangles and feathers.

There is a new sketch+stash challenge over at the SOS blog!

For this challenge we had to create a layout inspired by the sketch and include 3 or more patterned papers from 3 or more different collections and/or manufacturers, 3 or more embellishments from 3 different collections and/or manufacturers and include corkboard, chalkboard, or corrugated board.

This was a real challenge for me because I do not like to mix and match! When I have to complete a page, I always use papers and embellies from one same collection... 

For this layout I used papers from Crate Paper Boys Rule and DIY Shop and October Afternoon Daily Flash. Embelishments are from Crate Paper Boys Rule and Maggie Holmes and October Afternoon Daily Flash. The little circle on the right corner is corkboard.

For this page I haven't used a lot of paper. Actually I only used the background paper a little triangle on the right bottom corner of the layout. And lots of embellishments! I have been trying to work different styles...

Scrap&Music challenge#25 - Girl on Fire

It is time for a new challenge over at Scrap&Music challenge blog. The song for this week's challenge is Girl on Fire from Alicia Keys.

That was a hard challenge to work with because of the song chosen by the DT. But at the end it turned out great. I love it! I got to work with one of my favorites pictures ever from 2005!

SOS - Stash Challenge - Spring Colors

Hello lovely ladies! There is a new stash challenge up at SOS blog!  You must create a layout using spring colors and include paper clips, journal card and a 3D embellishments.

Here is my take on this challenge:

For this challenge I first looked for a picture that had to do with spring... Here are my boys and I back in 2010 when we were living in Turkey.

Then I went through my stash to find the perfect papers, those with a spring feel. I chose pinks and greens and some patterns with flowers on them.

Sorry, ladies! Totally forgot to share with you the latest challenge over at Let's Get Sketchy! Life can be really crazy sometimes...

So here it is: For this challenge we are supposed to do before and after pages. So we take a page from when we started scrapping and redo it!

And here they are! The first on I made back in 2011. The second one has almost the exact picture, same geometric shapes but a different style. Can you tell?
