It’s been a year since Rochelle and Brenda became co-owners of Scrap Our Stash and to celebrate Scrap Our Stash will be hosting a Stash A Thon during the entire month of March and you and all of your friends are invited!!!  The party kicks off March 1st with the first challenge going live March 3rd and a challenge posted every other day thereafter.

I decided to use pink as the main color for this page. Also I wanted to use the heart paper garland somehow. I ended up placing 2 or 3 wood veneer heart together and in my head they remind me of the paper garland. I also used gold.

SOS Sketch challenge

Hello lovely ladies! Today I come to share a layout I made for the latest sketch challenge over at Scrap Our Stash blog.

The challenge consists in using the sketch as inspiration AND include heart patterned paper, one or more pre made hearts and one or more pre made arrows.

So, here is the sketch:

And here is my take on the challenge:

I used a heart patterned paper from Close Knit collection for my background and heart shaped wood veneer and arrow wood veneer. I picked a photo of my boys playing soccer together. When I saw the 2 big hearts on the sketch I knew i had to use a picture of them!

Now it is your time to make a beautiful layout for the challenge.

My favorite part playing with Scrap&Music challenges is to listen to the song and then pick a sentence for my title! The sentence I picked was "Everything is fine". I think it was perfect for my picture… Me and hubby looking so happy… 

Minha parte favorita dos desafios do Scrap&Music é ouvir a música e escolher a frase para meu título. A frase que escolhi para este foi "Everything is fine". Achei que teve tudo a ver com a foto minha e do maridão bem alegres...

Scrap Our Stash - SWAK

Olá queridas! Hoje venho compartilhar com vocês um layout que fiz para o desafio SWAK do blog Scrap Our Stash. As letras SWAK representam os elementos que devem aparecer na página: S é para sewing, ou seja, costura. Pode ser a máquina, a mão ou até falsa, usando carimbo de costura, por exemplo. o W é para Washi tape. o A é arrow (seta) e o K kraft. Pode ser papel kraft ou qualquer embellishment em kraft. Fora isso o layout precisa ser no mínimo 50% rosa ou vermelho.

Aqui está a página que eu criei:

Para criar o fundo cortei corações com a ajuda da minha Silhouette Cameo e usei papéis diversos por trás dos cortes. Depois adicionei a foto em preto e branco para não contrastar muito com as outras cores, alguns botoões e wood veneers, uma tag em kraft e o título da American Crafts. Bem simples!
